# Networking


The
[cortex-meta](https://github.com/ResearchDataCom/cortex-meta) repository and the respective team managing the target Kubernetes cluster takes responsibility for the network architecture:

- the environment or cloud account's VPC's its subnets

- network gateway configurations

- firewalls and IPv4 NAT mappings
